by Yvonne features an array of delicious dessert
delectable's that include; Yvonne's signature praline
pecan candy, ol' school butter cookies, sweet potato
pies, pecan pies, peach cobblers, 7up pound cakes and
other tempting, mouth watering homemade sweets that will
remind you of home.
The owner, Yvonne Hines is a San Francisco native and
has lived in the Bay View Hunters Point Community for
over 25 years. She began her culinary experience in 2003
at her home by sharing her special recipe of pralines, a
confection pecan candy originating from the old south.
Using a recipe given by a close family friend, Yvonne
soon modified and perfected this recipe and began
sharing her creations with family, friends and
co-workers.
Using her enterprising talents, Yvonne began making her
pralines and other specialty desserts for small parties
and social gatherings at the request of family, friends
and local community organizations. The small order
requests quickly grew into large orders of 100-200
guests at local civic and social events...and the rest
is history. Please stop by and visit Pralines by Yvonne
located at 5128 Third Street (between Revere and Shafter
Streets). Store hours are: Thurs. and Fri. 11am to 4pm,
Sat. 11am to 6 pm and Sun. 1:30pm to 4pm. For more
